The boards are black, so some ideas for your labels would be pre-printed labels that you could cut out and paste to the board, white or light-colored sticker letters, die-cut letters, or a white (or silver or other light color that will show up on a black board) marker/crayon/chalk pen.

HOMEWORK DUE 11/09/16, by class

Finish taking your SUMMER-themed photographs. Choose your best 10 photographs, using your photography tools learned thus far:

1.    Keep it simple

2.    Keep the image clean

3.    Good lighting

4.    Composition (rule of thirds)

These images will be used for your end-of-year final project, a Seasons Mood Board.

·         Your images should all share a general look so it is visually obvious that they belong together. This can easily be achieved by having a similar color throughout all the images of that season’s photographs. For example, for all of your summer photographs, you may want to have a summery color that ties them all together – yellow, for instance. Maybe a yellow beach ball, a yellow pair of sunglasses, yellow flip flops, etc. If there is not a unified color that appears in every photograph within the season, then at least have the items/subjects that you shoot be OBVIOUSLY part of that season.

·         You will upload and send these images to me after next classFor this week, just compile (on your computer) 10 of your BEST images that you’ve shot since starting this class, that represent SUMMER to you.
