Statement of Faith
§ To glorify God in all actions, while proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ as Sovereign, Creator, Redeemer and Judge.
§ To clearly instruct that the doctrines of Creator and Creation cannot ultimately be divorced from the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
§ To faithfully and clearly address the origins life and the universe so that believers may stand firm in their faith and engage in articulate, well-informed apologetics.
Basic Tenants We Hold to Be True
§ The 66 books of the Bible are authored by God through divinely inspired and inerrant writings created by the servants He chose to record them.
§ Scripture interprets Scripture.
§ The Genesis account of origins is a factual report of the how the universe, and all contained therein, came into being.
§ Man is a special creation made in the image of God. He is not related to animals in any way, but unique in all aspects of his creation.
§ Man’s sin is the basis of the necessity of salvation.
Our Theological Position
§ We believe in one God, the God that introduced Himself to humanity through the Bible. He consists of three Persons, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.
§ Mankind is sinful and this sin nature has been passed down from Adam to every generation. The punishment for sin is death and eternal separation from God.
§ There is only one way to be rescued from the penalty of death and that is through the sacrificial death and shed blood of Jesus Christ and His complete and bodily resurrection from the dead.
§ Each sinner makes the choice to receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior through faith alone. We do not believe in salvation through works.
§ Through mercy, the Holy Spirit enables a believer to understand their need to repent and believe in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit lives and works in each believer to produce fruits of righteousness.
§ Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
§ Jesus Christ rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and is currently seated at the right hand of God the Father. He shall return in person as Judge of the living and the dead.
§ Satan is the personal spiritual adversary of both God and mankind.
§ Those who do not believe in Christ are subject to eternal conscious punishment, but those who do believe will enjoy eternal life with God.
§ All human life is sacred and begins at conception.
