In 2006, with a commitment to designing new opportunities for students, regardless of social standing, background, race, gender or economic status, Dr. Thai’s vision began with a partnership through Club Invention and later transformed to Quest Science Club becoming the start of an education forward non-profit community center. Quest Science Club implemented courses in math, engineering, music, arts, and theater broadening its influence through cultivating natural curiosity the students were displaying.

Over the past 14 years, Quest has seen steady growth and increase in students and programming. A hunger from students to learn, grow, and master the subjects being offered became overwhelmingly evident. Becky sought out the finest and most outstanding professionals to join and champion her mission of changing the face of education one student at a time. In 2016, Quest Science Club became Quest for Education and Arts. Dr. Thai’s dream coupled with her unwavering commitment to offer high quality education has resulted in tremendous growth of the organization. From its humble beginnings of 6 students to a weekly attendance of over 350 eager students, Quest is changing how learning happens.

Becky remains actively involved in the organization, currently teaching and leading college bound science classes while also remaining the visionary for forward motion. Dr. Rebecca (Becky) Thai remains driven by her infectious passion for education, her absolute love for the sciences, and her resolute devotion to the Lord.

Engaging, inspiring, and captivating education was the inspiration behind the origins of Quest for Education and Arts.

Our founder, Dr. Rebecca (Becky) Thai spent 14 years in the pharmaceutical world diligently helping patients, the elderly, and veterans returning from service. During this time, she had the privilege of working with a team who strongly believed medicine should be individualized to each patient. Every resident and intern she coached was able to create a custom educational path based on interests and goals. Her dedication and deep concern for each unique patient, blended with her passion for science and endorsed by university training and several faculty appointments at colleges of pharmacy across the United States and Canada allowed Becky to excel in her pharmaceutical career. Energized by the uniqueness of each day, Becky was inspired to create an environment where variety and customization could be incorporated into all forms of education, focused on practical and useful hands-on learning from the first day.
